ISO 17025:2005 Accredited Laboratory
As a result of the final implementation of the Processed Fuel Oil (PFO) quality Protocol, it is now a requirement of all PFO producers that analysis completed on supplied Fuels is undertaken by a laboratory accredited to ISO 17025:2005 prior to supply.
Oakwood Group has invested heavily in developing an in-house laboratory that meets these extremely high technical and quality standards.
Oakwood Group is proud to confirm that we now operate "a UKAS accredited testing laboratory no. 4671", after the United kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) formally approved our in house quality control lab to meet the requirements of ISO 17025:2005 for the methods listed on our schedule of accreditation.

Furthermore Oakwood have just taken delivery of a Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescent Spectrometer (WDXRF), for which we are in the process of commissioning and working towards UKAS accreditation. This will compliment existing analytical equipment and enable Oakwood to meet the further requirements of the latest PFO Protocol revision for Metal and Chlorine Analysis.
